George Washington, who was elected the first President of the
United States of America in 1789, once walked the cobblestones of
this small, pleasant town, which is now virtually a suburb of
Washington. Alexandria is unique when you stroll through the streets
with their boutiques, antique shops and small restaurants, it seems
almost European, while the openness and enthusiasm of the people who
live there is typically American.
School
Overlooking the scenic Potomac River, this purpose-built school
offers modern, well-designed light-filled rooms with excellent
technical facilities. The school has seven classrooms, a large
computer room and a student lounge.
Accommodation
Accommodation with a host family (student residence, apartment or
hotel on request). The journey from the host families to the school
takes no longer than 15 to 45 minutes as a rule, thanks to the
outstanding public transport system. The apartments are 30 minutes
away from the school by bus.

Leisure time
Washington D. C. with its variety of cultural activities on offer
and its exciting night life. is irresistible. An added bonus is that
most of the museums in the city do not charge entrance fees. A visit
to the White House and the Congress is not to be missed. Alexandria
itself also has things to otter: boutiques, pubs. restaurants, jazz
clubs and much more besides.

You are only two hours away from the sea or the mountains.
