　午前中のみのコースがあること。

●　学校の印象、感想
　ハイシーズンじゃなく、生徒数が少なかったせいかも知れませんが、 生徒一人一人に対するケアがよかった気がします。 たとえば、担当の講師だけじゃなく受付職員も私の名前とホームステイ先を記憶していて、 ホームステイ先の家庭のことも、家族構成や住所や人柄などほとんど把握できているようでした。その点で、非常に安心感がありました。
自分でやる気があれば、放課後も自習を出来る環境と教材が揃っており。雑誌、参考書、本、辞書、ドリル的なハンドアウトだけでなくテープなどを利用したリスニングの教材と必要な設備が完備されていました。

●　授業の感想
　この学校以外に、カナダで２校。マルタで１校語学学校に行った経験がありますが、その中では一番効率のよい授業だったように思います。特に課題がたくさん出るわけではないのですが、利用価値があり、頭に残る英語を学べたと思います。教材とノウハウがいいのでしょうか。たとえば、犯罪についての英語がテーマの週には、ボキャブラリーを学んでから、裁判に携わる人が自身の職業について語るビデオを鑑賞したり、実際に裁判の傍聴に行ったりすることで、集中して聞き取りができたし、単純に単語が頭に入りやすかったし、語彙の使われ方も自然に頭に入りました。

●　授業外の特別活動について
　月曜日以外は、何らかのアクティビティーはあったようですが、それほど多くの生徒が参加しているようには見受けられませんでした。物価が高くて浪費を避けるためなのか、単純に勉強で疲れているからなのか、勉強以外にあまり時間を割きたくないからなのか
ただ、火曜日のパブナイトだけ毎週参加する生徒は多かったように思います。ほかのアクティビティーはというと、ロンドンという土地柄、英国美術館などの美術館やさまざまな舞台の観劇。サッカー（PLAYするほうの）もありました。ミュージカルは、席数は限られていますが、学校でまとめ買をしているので自分で買うより簡単に安くチケットが手に入りました。

●　ホームステイ、寮などの印象、感想
　２件のホームステイ先にお世話になりましたが、どちらもとてもいい家族でした。

●　留学した都市の印象、感想
　ロンドンは、見どころが多い町ですが、うんざりすることもたくさんありました。交通量が多く、周りに無関心な人が多いという点で、日本と似ているんですが 日本人と違い、PATIENTな人があまりいないので、慣れるまでは日本以上にストレスの溜まるところに感じました。イギリスに限らず、ヨーロッパの国々はだいたいそうですが、いたるところに警官や軍人があからさまに銃を持ってパトロールしているので、これは、あまり気分のいいものではありません。

●　英語は上達しましたか？
　学校での勉強が役立って、それなりに上達はしたと思います。また、カナダに比べると絶対的にアジア人の割合は少なく、ヨーロッパの友達が増えたので、帰国後もメールのやり取りなどで日常的に英語を使うことが出来、英語の上達に役立っていると思います。

●　その他のご意見
　以前、カナダに留学した際には、有料のエージェントにお願いしたことがあります。 初めての留学で不安が多かったので、もちろんそれなりのケアをしてくれたり、現地にオフィスがあったりとメリットがありましたが、はっきり言って手数料を取りすぎだと思いました。
それに比べると、学校の手配をしてくださり、しかも無料だなんてmitsuba associatesのサービスは有難い限りです。一度留学経験があり、だいたいの要領が分かっている私には特別な現地サポートも必要ないですし、インターネットだけでやり取りができる点、書類を書くためにエージェントに行く必要がないという手軽さがうってつけでした。
さらに、私は日本にいないときに（ヨーロッパの旅行中）学校探しをし、申し込みをしないといけなかったので、書類の送付先が定まらなかったので、それもメールで処理できるように配慮していただきました。感謝の一言に尽きます。また、転々と滞在先を変えていたので、返信がなかなかできなかったので、入学手続きに必要な情報を送るのが遅くなり、ご迷惑をおかけしたのに、きっちりと手続きをサポートしてくださりました。ほんとに無料でこんなにお世話になっていいんでしょうか。
