Dear student,
When I was 17, I spent 9 months as an international student so
I know what it is like to be far from home, living in a
different culture with people you have never met before. I
remember how important it was for me to feel supported and to
know there were people I could rely on for help. I also know
that this was one of the most important challenges and
experiences of my life.
So when I set up Excel English in 1989,1 wanted to give our
students the best possible experience of living in London and
learning English. That is why Excel English has a totally
student centred approach and why we aim at excellence in
everything we do (Excel means be the best). As far as we are
concerned, every aspect of your experience at the school has
got to be right, whether you are here for two weeks or a year.
What our students need drives how we put together our courses
and programmes, how we stock our library, how we train our
staff, how we choose our homestay hosts and how we organise
the social programme, and we always consider what benefits or
advantages you will get from studying at the school.
