Dear student,
Congratulations! Manchester is a fantastic choice for a study
holiday. It's a large cosmopolitan city with a fascinating
history, situated in one of the most beautiful regions of
Britain. From Manchester we can visit the castles of Wales,
explore the villages and palaces of the Peak District, walk in
the Yorkshire dales and of course, meet Peter Rabbit and his
friends in the Lake District.
What about Manchester Language School? Well, it's a small
school based in a 200 year old house with a beautiful big
garden just 20 minutes from the City Centre. The school
specialises in excellent one-to-one and small group courses
for adults. We guarantee you'll make progress. You will meet
lots of interesting English people and make many new friends.
Our host families live nearby so you can walk to the school
every day. We'll design a special programme just for you so
tell us how you like to spend your free time. Do you like
sport or music or theatre? Where do you work? What are your
hobbies? We can take you to the Wedgwood Factory and teach you
how to cook afternoon tea too!
We've welcomed many students from Japan in the last seven
years since our school opened and we are delighted to be
