Dear Student,
We at The Bury Language School in Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk are fervently committed to the
policy of small group tuition in a warm and friendly environment. We work in partnership with
Mitsuba Associates who can advise and assist you in making your choice the correct one.
The School
The Bury Language School occupies the upper floors of a 17th century building in the centre of
the beautiful historic market town of Bury St Edmunds. The classrooms overlook the beautiful
Abbey gardens with their romantic ruins, and the town is within easy reach of Cambridge and
convenient for day trips to London.
An effective teaching team
All our teachers are well qualified, experienced and above all highly motivated to assist each
and every student to achieve their personal best. Enthusiasm, hard work, intensive lessons in
small groups and individual care for every student is the key to our students' progress and
success. The progress of all students is monitored personally by the Principal and staff every
week to encourage high levels of motivation and to ensure maximum progress.

At The Bury Language School we are committed to small, vibrant and intensive classes where
every student is an individual. We believe that we are the only language school to offer
intensive tuition in such a friendly environment.
Exam success
The Bury Language School is an exam centre for the London Chamber of Commerce and
Industry Business English examinations and the University of Cambridge Local Examinations
Syndicate. Students are thoroughly tested and individually advised on their suitability for each
examination before enrolment. Intensive English classes take place throughout the year and
students can start on any Monday during the term.
