Our headquarters are located in one of the prime residential areas of Dublin. Set in its own gardens and overlooking the beautiful
Palmerton Park, it offers students the chance to study in a peaceful sand stress-free environment, and yet the city centre is only a fifteen minute bus journey away. Facilities at our institute include a fully equipped language laboratory and study centre, a library and access to videos, email and internet.
Students at the Emerald Cultural Institute are assured of personal attention at all times. Our staff of highly qualified and experienced teachers take a keen interest in students' progress. All our teachers have university degrees and are trained to teach English as a Foreign Language. Many have additional qualifications in specialist subject areas. In addition to the academic and administrative staff, we have a full-time accommodation officer. She is always on hand to answer any questions students may have regarding any
aspect of their accommodation. Other full-time members of staff are responsible for student welfare and co- ordinate the social, cultural and activity programme.
At the Emerald Cultural Institute, we encourage our students to integrate into the Irish way of life and to learn more about our rich heritage in history, music and literature. Our social, cultural and activity programme takes place outside of class times and includes a daily film in the school, access to local sports clubs at
reduced rates, guided visits to places of historical and cultural interest, talks given by guest speakers and evenings at characteristic Irish pubs featuring Irish music and dancing. We also offer our students the opportunity to stay with a carefully selected host family on a paying-guest basis. This allows students to experience Irish family life at first hand and to practise their English naturally in everyday situations.
Students come from all over the world to learn English at the Emerald Cultural Institute and our aim is to provide the highest quality service to all and to ensure the best learning environment for each student, whatever their age, culture or academic
background.
We hope to welcome you to our school soon.
Best wishes,
Debbie Killeen
