We, Rutland School of English, are proud to be working together with
Mitsuba Associates. Our School will provide you with the highest quality English
classes and host family accommodation while Mitsuba
Associates will give you their professional advice in choosing a School
The purpose of our School over the last 40 years or more has always been, not
not only to offer our students excellent tuition which is suitable for their needs and
careers, but also to provide a friendly and informal environment to study in. We are
able to do this because ours is a small, family-run School where each student is helped
on a personal basis and not treated as one of a large group. You can keep your
identity here, telling us what you want and expressing your opinions. We will get to
know you personally and respect your rights as an individual.
The classes are small, well taught and present meaningful English relevant to
modem, everyday life and work. There's an integrated-skills approach providing
plenty of practice with speaking and listening as well as reading and writing. You
will find the atmosphere in class relaxed but rewarding and be surprised at how much
you have learnt at the end of the course.
The host-family accommodation is also excellent and you will be placed with
a family who meet your requirements and are happy to look after and feed you well.
They all have lovely houses and live near the School. You won't have to use public
transport to get to School. In the family your wishes will be respected and you will be
able to blend in with their everyday life.
Margate is a medium-sized town, popular in summer with tourists. It is a
lovely area with good beaches and fine countryside. There are many interesting and
historical places to visit including Canterbury with its famous cathedral.
