The Bronte Language Centre works in partnership with
Mitsuba Associates. We provide you with the most
effective, professional and caring learning experience whilst

Bronte Language Centre, is dedicated to providing the highest
quality intensive English courses where the emphasis is on
communication. Individual attention is our first priority
enabling you to leam the
English skills most important to you. We are a proud member
of CAPLS, The Canadian Association of Private Language Schools
and strictly adhere to their strict standards. All students
have the opportunity to use our facilities after class at no
extra charge. You can watch movies, study with ESL computer
learning programs, use the internet and the audio and visual
aids. Your teachers will suggest additional study materials to
you.
BLC offers small groups, with an average of 7 students and
experienced, qualified ESL teachers who are dedicated to their
work. We welcome students of all ages although most of our
students are
between 18 and 55. Courses include English for specific
purposes, general English, TOEFL and TOEIC. There is a social
program for you to enjoy with field trips, barbecues, movie
nights and excursions to places of interest. We offer a
"Summer and Winter ESL Vacation" experience with visits to
Niagara Falls, Toronto and many other local attractions and
activities. Separate programs can be organised for young
teenagers who are travelling together or special interest
groups for golf, sailing and culture etc. In 2004 our students
came from 19 different countries and offered a truly
international experience.
There is also a Business English Course with executive
homestay as an alternative to staying in a hotel. This super
intensive immersion course is a fast track way for the busy
business person.
Oakville is a town of about 135,000 people. There are three
harbours, many lovely parks, shops, malls, libraries, cinemas,
theatres, clubs, beaches, museums, galleries, sports
facilities, cafes, bars and restaurants. There is the popular
Waterfront Festival during June
with other celebrations and parades at different times of the
year. This is a wonderful place to live and study English.
Oakville is a lovely, safe area with a very high standard of
living. Our school is conveniently situated a few minutes walk
from Lake Ontario and parks, post office, banks, pharmacies,
shopping malls, coffee shops, cafes, fast food shops, stores
and services are all nearby. Many of our host families live
within easy walking distance from school. Oakville is about 30
minutes by car or 40 minutes by train from Toronto and an hour
from Niagara Falls and the US border.
There are many places of interest nearby such as Bronte
Provincial Park. Crawford Lake Indian Village. Mountsberg
Conservation Area, historic homes and castles as well as
everything that Toronto has to offer.
