Mitsuba Associates endeavour to assist you to use our services easily and with confidence. When using our services we ask you to observe our procedures.

Mitsuba Associates does not accept responsibility for any mishap or occurrences which are beyond its control or not of its making. Nor of matters not related to the services it provides.

User Policy

1. General

1.1 This user policy applies to all matters pertaining to the user, and Mitsuba Associates who are managing this web site and to the services that Mitsuba Associates provides.
1.2 Mitsuba Associates reserves the right to change the contents of the services and this user policy without notice and that they can take immediate effect.
1.3 Mitsuba Associates reserves the right to decide upon matters which might fall outside this definition.
1.4 The terms and conditions take precedence over any other communications that might contradict that policy.

2. Mitsuba Associates' services

2.1 By using the services provided by Mitsuba Associates, the user agrees to abide by the terms and conditions of the User Policy.
2.2 Where special terms and conditions apply to a particular service other that those covered in the User Policy, the user agrees to abide by these.
2.3 Only a user intending to study abroad can use the services of Mitsuba Associates .
2.4 Once Mitsuba Associates has committed to supporting the user, then the user should proceed with consultations exclusively with Mitsuba Associates.
2.5 The user should use the appropriate form on the Mitsuba Associates web site in order to use Mitsuba Associates' services.
The user should enter comprehensive and truthful information. When misleading information was revealed, mitsuba associates stopped the service and charged the countervalue of the service.
2.6 Mitsuba Associates will provide free to the user, information to assist in the selection of institutions and courses. After the application has been submitted, Mitsuba Associates will continue to provide consultation and support with procedural matters.
2.7 In order to avoid the improper use of Mitsuba Associates services by third parties, with the exception of that information in the public domain, the service is limited to the individual user. Copies, transmissions, reproductions etc. cannot be passed onto third parties without the prior consent of Mitsuba Associates.
2.8 Mitsuba Associates cannot accept responsibility for unsatisfactory results subsequent to the free advice or services
offered.
2.11 Mitsuba Associates asks that the user completes the questionnaire having completed using their services.
2.12 When a student no longer intends to study abroad whilst using our services, then Mitsuba Associates should be notified.
2.13 When the user continued the consultation service mitsuba associates provided in spite of having completely lost the intention of studying abroad through mitsuba associates, mitsuba associates charge the user for the countervalue of the service.

2.15 Mitsuba Associates will suspend the service to a user if that user is deemed to have used the service inappropriately and the countervalue of service shall be charged. mitsuba associates have the right which judges this.
2.16 The user must be at least 18 years old. For those less than 18 years, the parent of guardian must be the responsible adult.

3. Application service

3.1 The user employing the services of Mitsuba Associates should submit the application on our web site.
3.2 By submitting the application form the user will have read and agreed to the terms and conditions set out by Mitsuba
Associates and to have read and agreed to the terms and conditions of the institution selected by the user.
3.3 The subsequent procedure after submitting the application form shall be processed with the terms and conditions of the institution selected by the user.

3.5 The application form represents a request and the details requested therein are not guaranteed and are not binding. The contract will be between the user and the institution selected by the user. Mitsuba Associates cannot accept any responsibility for any changes originating from the institution to which the user has applied.
3.6 The user shall pay the fees directly to the institution by the date determined by them.
3.7 Mitsuba Associates is not involved in handling any financial transactions between the user and the institution to which the student has applied.
3.8 Any credits, such as refunds, payment of cancellation fees are the sole responsibility of the user and the institution to which the student has applied.
3.9 The user is deemed to agree that the institution will pay to Mitsuba Associates an agreed commission at the end of the users' study period.
3.10 Mitsuba Associates offers its services to the user at no charge unless a specified service at a given cost is requested and agreed upon with the user.
3.11 In the event of a cancellation the user shall notify Mitsuba Associates and the cancellation conditions determined by the institution will apply.
3.12 Mitsuba Associates will not ask the user for a cancellation fee.


4. Services after the user has started studying abroad.

4.1 Mitsuba Associates will continue to offer information and services free of charge after the student has started studying abroad.
4.2 mitsuba associates shall offer useful information for extension or a procedure of a transfer institution, selection of a course, etc. at any time after entrance into institution.



5. Personal information.

5.1 Any personal information from the user will be restricted to the selected institution and Mitsuba Associates. Privacy will be strictly observed.
5.2 Mitsuba Associates will not disclose the users' personal information to any third party and will observe the Data
Protection Act of the UK.
Personal information will only be passed on in the following circumstances:
- When the user has given permission
- To the institution to which the user has applied
- When Mitsuba Associates is legally obliged to do so
- To comply with the legitimate requirements of the public authorities
- When the user has requested a service or product through Mitsuba Associates which involves a third party and necessitates the disclosure of personal information
- When Mitsuba Associates is judged that it is to the advantage of the user

6 Intellectual property

6.1 Mitsuba Associates claims copyright of all the contents of its web site and the procedures observed within it.
6.2 No part of the web site contents can be given to a third party without the express permission of Mitsuba Associates even if it is not for financial gain.

7. Limitations

7.1 Mitsuba Associates does not accept responsibility for any loss or damage to the user whilst using the services of Mitsuba Associates:

- Injury or damage occasioned as a result of the users' decision
- An loss or damage sustained from or upon a third party whilst engaged in activity relating to the use of Mitsuba Associates services
- Loss or damage as a result of the user cancelling the service
7.2 Mitsuba Associates does not accept responsibility for any loss or damage as a consequence of:
- Any power or communication failure preventing Mitsuba Associates from processing information on behalf of the user
- The unintentional disclosure of personal information as a result of a technical fault
- The loss of data as a result of a computer virus or similar
- All natural phenomena such as earthquakes & storm and man made events such as war and terrorism

8. Jurisdiction

8.1 The law and legislation of the United Kingdom apply to these terms and conditions.
8.2 In the event of a dispute the jurisdiction of the Law Courts of the United Kingdom applies.
