Everyone at The English Language Centre is pleased to be working in partnership with Mitsuba Associates who offer professional assistance to our Japanese clients. Their vast experience of the UK and the wide range of courses available will ensure that you are offered the very best and most impartial guidance possible.

We are also confident that you will enjoy studying in our 250 year old Georgian school in the centre of the beautiful city of York within 5 minutes of some of England's most famous historical sites. We are a small and very select English language school and we are proud of being able to offer small group tuition taught by well-qualified and experienced teachers.

Our courses include General English, Examination Preparation, Summer Programmes for Adults and Juniors, Teachers' Courses and English Foundation Courses for students wishing to study at UK Universities and Colleges.

We also have a lively social programme so that you can continue to practise your English with the other students in the evenings and at weekends. All our evening and weekend activities are accompanied by the ELC Social organiser. Remember, the ELC is a very international school so you will have the opportunity to make friends with other students from all over the world.
