New Horizon College Of English

New Horizon College of English is a private language school and was established in 1988. The school is for students who enjoy a happy, multi-national study environment and like living in a small city beside the beautiful Pacific Ocean.

The General programme caters for beginners through to Upper Intermediate students with 100% teacher centered lessons concentrating on developing the student's confidence in all aspects of the language. Advanced students can prepare for IELTS or Cambridge examinations. Further, the school offers Working Holiday and High School Preparation courses, Short Courses for groups and a 40+ programme, targeted for the more mature student. The weather in Napier is excellent and the region offers many opportunities for sightseeing, activities and outings.

The school gives students personalized attention in a warm and friendly learning environment. The teaching is based on modem communicative methods of learning English and qualified and experienced teachers encourage all students to be actively involved in class activities. All staff want students to reach their study goal through hard work, but also to have fun and adventures in a new and exciting place. The aim is to support the students all the way and make sure they are happy.
