Dear Student,
Welcome to Liverpool's European Languages Centre. The centre
was founded in order to provide students from all over the
world with very high quality tuition at reasonable rates in an
area of Britain which has an international reputation for
academic excellence and the arts. The European Languages
Centre is a British Council Accredited School.
Liverpool is one of the largest cities in Britain and has some
of the finest architecture outside London. In fact, even in
Britain, Liverpool is famous for the grandeur of its Georgian
and Victorian buildings mixed with the vibrant and progressive
atmosphere of a regional capital.
The European Languages Centre is situated in the very heart of
the exciting City of Liverpool and within 5 minutes walk of
magnificent art galleries, museums and libraries; modem
cinemas and traditional theatres; department stores and
boutiques as well as superb restaurants, cosy pubs and
exciting night-clubs in the 'Cavern Quarter' made famous by
the Beatles.
Within our centre, we provide highly qualified, enthusiastic
and professional teachers who are dedicated to the success of
each student and who combine contemporary teaching methods
with the most recent materials to ensure your rapid and
accurate progress.
Our courses are taught at 5 different levels and are suitable
for all students from beginners to those with an advanced
knowledge of English. We also provide tuition in specialised
areas like English for Business and Specialised Programmes
including Executive Courses. You will be able to study the
form of English you require at our centre from one week to one
year and guarantee your future success.
Furthermore, you wfll be able to study for the all the
Cambridge University examinations as well as the IELTS, TOEIC
and TOEFL examinations. The European Languages Centre also
provides each student with a certificate of achievement and
merit at the end of each course.
In addition, our centre offers expert tuition by
native-speaker teachers in all European languages as well as
Russian, Japanese and Chinese for those students wishing to
improve another language whilst studying English in Britain.
Also, our centre offers a full social programme which provides
each student with the opportunity to get to know their
teachers better and gain increased knowledge of the cultural
life and social activities of our region and of Britain.
