Centre of English Studies
Dear Students,
Thank you for your interest in Centre of English Studies (CES)
regarding our English Language Courses.
Since 1979 Centre of English Studies has provided the highest
standard of courses and care for our clients and we are
officially recognised by the Irish Department of Education.
Our main school building is in Dame Street on the same street
as Trinity College and Dublin Castle, our second centre,
Coppinger House, is behind the Powerscourt Townhouse Centre,
just off Grafton Street. Both centres are convenient to public
transport. During the summer months we operate a Junior
International Summer School.
Our classrooms are bright, airy and beautifully decorated,
each school has a Self-Access Centre and Coppinger House has
its own Interactive Technology and Listening Centre, which is
available to all our students. We offer a full range of
General Examinations, ESP and Teacher Training Courses. Our
Teachers are highly qualified and experienced in the skills of
English Language Teaching. Our Director of Studies is
available to give guidance and advice and keeps in close
contact with Tutors regarding students' progress.
We can offer you a choice of accommodation: Host-Family,
Hotel, Guesthouse and in July and August, self catering campus
accommodation. Host-family accommodation is the most popular
as it gives you an opportunity to meet Irish people and to
practise your English.
CES work in partnership with Mitsuba Associates who
assist our Japanese clients making the choice of which English
School to go to easy.
