We are delighted that you are thinking of studying with us at
Regent Edinburgh!
Regent Edinburgh is a small, friendly school ideally located
in the heart of Scotland's capital. All the attractions of one
of Europe's most beautiful cities are on its doorstep. The
school occupies a fine Georgian building which overlooks the
Cathedral and is only minutes from the Castle, Princes Street,
mainline train station and city bus routes. Edinburgh Airport
is 20-30 minutes by taxi/bus.
Our facilities include student common room, library,
self-study, free Internet access and outdoor picnic/patio
area. Experienced, motivated staff care about their students
and create a warm atmosphere with quality teaching.
Edinburgh is uniquely endowed with a wide range of historical,
cultural and sporting attraction covering both city and
country life. Social programmes are diverse and exciting!
Dominated by its famous Castle, the city is home to very many
excellent museums, theatres and art galleries. Other
attractions include The Palace of Holyroodhouse, The Royal
Yacht Britannia, berthed in the vibrant restaurant area of
Leith and Our Dynamic Earth, which traces the history of the
earth through an exciting space adventure. In addition the
choice of excellent restaurants and pubs is enormous!
Edinburgh is, of course, famous for the Edinburgh
International Festival which transforms the city each August
into the biggest and most vibrant stage in the world. Regent
Edinburgh runs a very special Festival English Course
combining English tuition with cultural events, discussion,
reviews and social programme to allow the student to get the
fullest possible benefits from both lessons and Festival.
Other special features of tuition at Regent Edinburgh include
English and Golf, English and the Scottish Experience, and our
Hogmanay Course.
