Eastbourne School of English has an excellent reputation for
the quality of our English language teaching, homestay service
and also our programme of social events and activities.
The school opened in 1936 so we have many years' experience of
helping overseas students with their English. We are a
non-profit-making organisation and try to keep our fees as low
as possible.
Join a course with us and we will improve your communication
skills in English quickly and effectively. You can take an
examination in English, learn Business English, take some
private lessons to help you with any special problems, or join
a Special Interest Group to work on your pronunciation. Our
brochure gives full information about the alternative
programmes we offer. -
The school is in a modernised building in the centre of
Eastbourne and close to the elegant seafront. We have spacious
classrooms, a large student lounge, a lively student cafe, a
multi-media learning centre with free internet and e-mail
access, and beautiful gardens.
Eastbourne is a safe and friendly place to study. There are a
lot of tourist attractions in
the town and in the beautiful countryside nearby. Our host
families are warm and welcoming and will tell you all about
our town and its facilities. Our Social Organisers make sure
that you enjoy yourself after the lessons and at weekends.
For many years we have worked with our partners, Mitsuba
Associates. The Mitsuba team will be pleased to make all
the arrangements for your course with us.
