Shafston's two campuses are located in the heart of Brisbane, on the

The Shafston educational precinct is home to Shafston International
College, Shafston Institute of Technology, Shafston Nursing, and the

Shafston International College offers a range of Academic and General
English programs including IELTS, TOEFL, TOEIC, Cambridge exam
preparation, Business English, and High School Preparation courses.
Students are able to progress from Shafston's Academic English program
directly into one of shafston's diplomas or university pathways.
Shafston is currently a registered testing centre for TOEIC and TOEFL I
BT.
Shafston Institute of Technology offers a range of higher education
diploma programs leading students to degree studies at Queensland's most
prestigious universities. Higher education diplomas are offered in
International Business, Human Behaviour, and Education. Pathways have
been established with Queensland University of Technology and Griffith
University to give successful students a guaranteed pathway to second
year degree studies in Business and related courses. Articulation
arrangements are also in place with The University of Queensland.
Shafston Nursing offers vocational programs in Nursing. The Diploma in
Nursing (pre-enrolment) leads to a career in nursing as an enrolled
nurse or further university studies with Queensland's most prestigious
universities. Pathways have been established with Queensland University
of Technology, Griffith University, and ACU National to give successful
students a guaranteed pathway to second year degree studies.
Launched in July 2006, Shafston Hospitality offers a Diploma in
Hospitality Management and a Certificate III in Hospitality (Commercial
Cookery). The combined length of these programs is 2 years however with
Shafston's fast track system they finished within 16 months. As part of
this unique educational package Shafston guarantees 900 hours of
industry placement during your studies.
Accommodation: Shafston offers students a choice of living in on-campus
apartments or homestay accommodation. Shafston University Mansions
consist of 170 individual apartments designed for the needs and budget
of Australian and international students. Students can enjoy single,
double or triple room accommodation each with their own bathroom and
kitchen. Each apartment is fully furnished. Living with an Australian
family can also be a wonderful experience. Students can experience
Australian food and lifestyle in a friendly and caring family
environment. All families are located within a convenient distance of
the campus.
