COSTS

Your costs can be divided into distinct areas. Travel to and from the UK and your country. Your daily spending and social allowance. Language School course fees and accommodation.

Clearly there will be a range of costs dependent upon where and what you study.

Fees can be as little as £120 upwards per week for a 15 hour general course, but you should allow for more in the larger or popular centres or for courses which are more demanding.

Accommodation can be residential, in a dormitory situation, especially with younger people. Alternatively you can stay in a hotel, but that of course is an expensive option. Most people live with an English host family where they can be involved in daily English life. In general one can expect to pay about £100 per week for breakfast and evening meal, with a host family.
